Driven Racing Oil BR30 5w-30 Conventional Break In Oil (6 Quart Pack)

The same high Zinc and Phosphorus formula as our original break-in oil is now available in an SAE 5W-30 viscosity, designed specifically for modern OEM rebuilds and hydraulic lifter engines. This oil provides excellent ring sealing, without the need for additional ZDDP additives. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, from full power pulls on the dyno to one night of racing or up to 400 miles on the street, with a viscosity typical of 5W-30.

The formulation includes a higher/correct level of ZDDP, which ensures protection during the initial engine start-up and proper Camshaft & Lifter Break-In (Flat Tappet, Roller, Solid, Hydraulic). The multi-viscosity design allows for better flow, delivering faster lubrication at start-up.

The low detergent formulation of this oil makes it ideal for the break-in process, as it has been specifically formulated for this purpose. No additional additives should be used with this oil.
