Product Description: "Stinger" Spear Point Blade

The Stinger XL was loved by the knife community for its spear point blade shape. It was a natural progression to incorporate this blade design into an assisted Rapid Fire model. The Rapid Fire Stinger blade shape is slightly wider and shorter than the XL, due to the different overall geometry of the Rapid Fire design. This creates a very robust spear point blade that's built for hard use in all conditions.

Cryogenic D2 Blade Steel We used Cryogenic D2 blade steel, the same steel as our robust Tracker-X2 and Ridgeback fixed blade knives. D2 is an extremely tough steel with excellent corrosion resistance, incredible edge retention, and the ability to hold an edge even after extensive hard use. To further enhance the benefits of D2, we used a cryogenic treatment and a tumbled Titanium Nitride (TINI) coating. The cryogenic process provides additional corrosion resistance, increased durability, and exceptional scratch and peel resistance, with a heat treatment resulting in an HRC of 61.

Lightning-Fast Deployment The Rapid Fire Series is Off-Grid's only assisted knives, and we designed them to deploy with force and authority. Once you have this knife in your hand and pull the trigger, you'll understand why it's called the "Rapid Fire" – it's lightning-quick.

Grippy G10 Scales The Rapid Fire scales feature an elongated honeycomb texture that has been a proven favorite for our customers, so we saw no reason to change a good thing. The grip is comparable to the beefy ZT (Zero Tolerance) 0303 knife, providing a comfortable and confident four-finger grip, with or without gloves. The scales are secured with non-strip T8 torx screws for added toughness.

Deep Carry Rapid Fire knives are on the larger side of EDC, but they don't carry as such. The knives ride deep in your pocket, and the clip can be worn on the left or right side with tip-up carry. Even with its sizeable dimensions, you'll forget it's there... until you need it. The clip is removable, allowing for left-side carry by unscrewing the T6 torx screws.

Overbuilt and Tactical We've added grippy jimping in multiple critical areas on the spine, two places on the G10, and a non-slip area at the back. The Rapid Fire Stinger will always give you confidence when ready to deploy and handle any hard-use situation. Your Rapid Fire Stinger will also come razor-sharp out of the box and maintain that edge for extended periods.
